There are plenty of free information in the internet in a form of articles, websites, blogs and free reports. I have no problems with exchanging my contact information for any interesting reports. If I’m looking for a particular information and if anyone can share that information with me, I have no problem giving out my email address. Even as I opt into that person’s list, chances are that that person will give me equally interesting information in the future. This is why exchanging my contact information to be opted into someone’s mailing list is mutually beneficial. This person is a responsible commercial emailer as most of them are.

Who I have a problem with is a group of people who harvests our contact information or buys our information in the cheap CD format and bulk emails everyone. I have no interest in many things that these people are offering. Because of their nature of unsolicited commercial email, this is why they passed the law forbidding anyone to send these unsolicited commercial emails, or commonly called spam. While eMerchants commonly sell information, including our contact information legally to others as cleverly hidden in their fine prints, some people are not following a proper email protocol or netiquette as they obtain our contact information and using it to contact us without our permission.

Rather than getting upset and reacting unproductive to their unprofessional practice, consider using my solution to this problem as you will find a way to turn this situation into a mutually beneficial solution for both them and us.

I can just see a few people rolling their eyes saying “because they want to make money off of me!” My answer is more complex, but it explains why they email us repeatedly.

Before I explain how a typical emailing cycle works, I need to explain about the biggest weapon in the history of the internet marketing after the invention of the internet and the website: It’s called autoresponder.

Autoresponder is a computer program that is programmed send any pre-written emails on demand. If the website is like having a salesperson working for you 24/7, then autoresponder is like having a clerk working for you 24/7. Every time when anyone fills out any webform in the internet, then it gets routed to the autoresponder and it emails you with any emails containing messages, links, files or anything else that it is programmed to do.

The important thing here is that you are now placed in the emailing list. It has captured your contact information and your email address where it can send you gauntlets of follow up emails of sales messages. Statistics show that the sale usually takes place on the seventh follow up emails, so we can easily see how valuable this autoresponder is.

Usually, this is the way a person gets opted into a mailing list.

. There is an advertisement for a free report
. I would fill out an electronic form in the website with my contact information
. I would get a confirmation email asking for their permission to send me the free information.
. Mine acceptance of this information puts me in the mailing list.
. I click the confirmation link in the email which triggers autoresponder.
. Autoresponder automatically generates a free report
. Autoresponder sends sales letters in the form of follow up emails into your inbox.

These people would be able to produce on demand, my ip address as well as a date and time that I have opted into their offer. If they cannot produce this, then you are probably being spammed illegally.

Now, a statistic has shown that it takes seven or more emails before a sale is made. This plays a very big hand as to why you get so many emails from the autoresponders.

When people sends permission based email, it’s probably something that I would be interested in and that I would probably open the email and maybe even buy something from them in the future.

ISP or Internet Service Providers that services your email system probably has a spam filters that scans the incoming emails for certain keywords that leads them to identify spam. This results in the spam being routed to your spam email folder or even being deleted entirely before you see them.

Even when unsolicited commercial emails reach your inbox or your spam box, there is a chance that it will get deleted. This leads to their emails being deleted by the recipients.

Since it takes roughly seven (permission based) emails before it produces a sale and assuming that only one out of five emails reach my inbox or spam box in my email account, it would take five times seven or thirty five emails before I would be interested in buying their product. Can you see why spammers has to send so many emails just to get their message to you?

I was a library rat growing up in a little town in Central California in the late 70’s. So it was with tremendous glee when the world of internet was introduced to me in the 80’s. Internet is like the world’s largest library, a mega database. I must confess that it has been a while since I have picked up a book or even a newspaper as I get all of my information from the internet. I enjoy all the free information that is readily accessible in the information super highway.

As much as there are free information available in the internet, one must give up a piece of his or her own information, such as an email address and a name in order to access these free information: Then comes the deluge of commercial emails that floods our email boxes. I was getting almost a hundred emails a day and it took nearly an hour to check my emails on several email boxes that I have for my personal as well as my business inboxes.

As I have opted into certain offers to get these emails, I clearly recognized many emails where I don’t recognize the other party. Now, I have no problems with people that I have opted into who are sending me the commercial emails but I soon have more and more emails where the sender can’t reproduce my repeated request for showing me my ip address and the date stamp indicating the exact time when I opted into their offer.

My experience changed forever one angry day when I got over 130 emails in one email box and I wrote to one of the spammer. His lame reply back to me became a basis for this program.

So can you see how this works now? This is the system to make money from people who are sending unsolicited commercial emails and people who receive these emails. However, they way you approach them is completely different.

When someone sends commercial emails by opting you into their mailing list, they have a right to send you the email and you must opt them into your list before you can legally send them a commercial email of your own. However, this does not apply to a simple reply email to point them to your sales site. All commercial emailers will see your simple reply and will have one of three different reactions.

They will either:

. Do nothing.
. They will go to the website to get the free report.
. Will reply to show you an ip address and date stamp, then continue to email you. (You will then opt out, if you choose to do so.)
Or

. they will ask you for more information, to which you will point them back to your website to get their free report.

Oh, this system also applies to your postal junk mail as well. When you get a junk mail, you can mail your business card with your free report link on it and I guarantee that someone will visit your page. This situation can turn two ways.

A company might visit your list website and take up on your offer for free leads. But this likelihood is slim. More than likely, what will happen is that one of the employee or a manager will get interested and will buy your manual. This is actually better because you can charge any amount that you want. Cool huh?

How to Set up Your Website To Make Money

Follow these ten easy steps to make money from this.

1. Go to this website to register your domain name, webhosting and your autoresponder all in one. Your domain name should contain some element of keyword as this will help you with your search engine ranking. It’s going to cost you twenty dollars a month for all three but this is the only cost that you will have with this program. You have seven day free trial period. You can get free autoresponder but I don’t recommend free autoresponder for two reasons.

One, because of the rampant use of spammers abusing free autoresponders for spam activities, many free autoresponders are blacklisted. What this means to you is that your delivery rates will very poor. You can send like 40,000 email addresses including some of your own, deliver it and it’ll never get there. What a waste of your money and effort!

Two, when you get do get tired of your horrible delivery rates and want to go to a paid autoresponder, you will have to get all of your current subscribers to double opt in AGAIN to your new list. And as many people who have done it have found out, you will lose a large percentage of your mailing list. This is why that when most autoresponders costs around twenty dollars and your twenty a month includes all the marketing and training that you will ever need. Trust me, it’s a bargain.

They have the most lucrative affiliate program so you will profit from others who will buy from you.

2. Go to Google.com and sign up for Google Adsense so that you can get some advertising revenues from people visit your website but who may not want to buy our product. They might buy something from Google and you’ll get some commission. This is a free program.

3. Download a copy of Nvu at nvu.com. It's a free html editor that you will need to create and edit your web pages. This software works better than many paid program.

4. Create your website using your free report pages. You can get website templates to create your website and paste the words on it. The idea is to put your free report on the website so that you can give your link to the solicitors and consumers. Using nvu and a template, create your webpage in html format and upload it to your website.

Include Adsense ads at the top, bottom (and center if the website page is long enough). I usually put a statement like: "Third Party Advertisement" followed by a quick marketing blurb about the affiliate product. I include just enough info to get them to click on the affiliate link for more details.

Important Point: You will be creating two website pages: One for the Junk Mail people and one for the consumers. Make the consumer free report as your index.html pages.

5. Set up your autoresponder. You will not be sending your free report directly to the subscriber by email. Instead, you will write a short teaser email about the free report that urges the reader to click on the link to view the lesson on your website. We want them to go to the site because of Adsense revenue.

6. Set up your Confirmation in Process page. This is the web page that the visitor gets sent to when they submit their name and email address. Create and upload a web page to your site that says something like, "Thank you for submitting your name and address. Your subscription request is being processed and you will receive a confirmation email in a few minutes. In the meantime, let me tell you about this product that I recently found that you may be interested in. It's called "blab, blab, blab" and you can find out more here..." You will set the destination of this page in your autoresponder set up.

7. Set up your Subscription Confirmed page. This is the web page that your subscribers will be sent to when they click on the confirmation link in the email they received. I wouldn't try to sell them again. Simply thank them for subscribing to your mailing list and give them a brief overview of the eCourse. I also include Adsense ads at the top and bottom. Once the subscriber reads the intro and overview, they have no direction to go in but they have the niche in mind. Having those Adsense ads there works perfectly for me.

8. Go to your autoresponder and get the html code for a subscription box. Insert this html in the appropriate place on your squeeze page.

Test out your system. Go to your squeeze page and make sure that it looks ok. Enter your name and email address in the html form. Make sure that your automatic set up is working correctly (meaning that you are being sent to the appropriate pages throughout the process). Make sure all of the pages look good, and that your Adsense ads are showing up.

Also, click on ALL of your affiliate links to make sure that they are active and working. It will be a shame to find out two months down the road that you had a typo in an affiliate link and it has been giving your subscribers an error page the whole time.

At this point, you have set up your system and have made sure that everything is working. Now, you are going to start marketing. I know that this is a little more involved, but you will be growing your list plus having the opportunity to generate affiliate and Adsense income.

8. Make sure to get your free leads from all five of the companies where you have placed your affiliate information in. Believe it or not, you should be able to get almost eight thousand free leads a month plus another five thousand leads that you will get from your Pro Membership for a total of 13,000 free leads a month. You can use all of your leads for your autoresponder, or give away your excess leads to your friends and your customers or you can sell them if you can. Again, more opportunity for you to make money from this.

9. Create your autoresponder name and identities along with your footer so that people can opt out of your list by emailing you. Make sure this works. Load up your autoresponder by importing your double optin list. Set it up to mass email your teaser email. You see how easy this is!

10. Every day, make it a habit of writing new emails and constantly test your messages. Make sure to use the “The Spam Triggers” in your Pro Member site to spam check your messages.

You can also do some article marketing if you want to generate more natural traffic to your website. In that case, I will give you more information on Content Writing Club. Your squeeze pages convert between 15-40% of website visitors. Yours will probably do the same.

You should start to see the gradual increase in daily Adsense income generated. You will also get a growing number of affiliate product sales as your subscribers go through the series of autoresponder messages you are sending them.
